Virtual Participation

Parts of the IMS will be available for viewing on IEEE TV for those who cannot attend in person. Some events will be streamed live from the IMS, and others recorded for later viewing.

What Will be Available?

The IMS Plenary Session will be streamed live, starting at 10:10 AM, Tuesday, May 25. It will include a number of important events:

  • The presentation by the Plenary Session's keynote speaker, Zachary J. Lemnios, Director of Defense Research and Engineering (DDR&E) for the United States Department of Defense;
  • Presentation of the Thomas Alva Edison Medal to Dr. Kiyo Tomiyasu, and his induction into the IEEE Heritage Circle.

Other events covered by IEEE TV will not be streamed live, but will be available on the IEEE TV website:

  • A Special Session honoring Dr. Tomiyasu;
  • A luncheon in honor of Chuck Swift;
  • All of the MicroApps sessions;
  • Vendor Spotlights and interviews from the Exhibition floor.

How Is It Accessed?

All recorded and live events can be accessed from the IEEE TV website. For live streaming of the Plenary Session, go to our IMS page; no login is necessary.
