The Historical Exhibit comprises a fascinating collection of books, photographs, and hardware from the early days of microwave technology through the present. Especially well represented are items from the early days of radar technology, including klystron and magnetron tubes, as well as radar transceivers, documents, and manuals. Early high-frequency thermionic tubes and solid-state devices are also on display, including examples of early microwave integrated circuits.

The Historical Exhibit is located in the exhibition area and is open at the same time as the exhibition.
